This 12.-15. of December 2016 the European YWCA hosts another awesome Study Session at the European Youth Center in Strasbourg, France, in partnership with the Council of Europe. We are searching for 35 young women up to 30 years young to participate in the Study Session empowering women through the use of technology to make sure the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are implemented. Within those goals, we will put a special focus on a gender perspective using a human rights based approach.
The aims of the Study Session will be to:
1. Build our knowledge aboutTechnology, Gender, Human Rights, and the SDGs;
2. Develop our skills to be more efficient in using contemporary technologies to influence the world around us;
3. Build a network of activists who will continue to support one another with expertise, connections, ideas, success stories and friendship.
Dates of the Study Session: 12.12.2016 – 15.12.2016 plus travel days
Working languages: English and Russian
Cost to Participants: only 50 Euros – accommodation is provided, travel costs are reimbursed
Age Range: 16-30 years old
